Privacy

What we keep, and what we don't.

Short version: no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your games stay on your own computer, and beta testers' play time is the only thing the game sends on its own.

01

This website

  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. We don't count visitors or follow you around the web.
  • One cookie, for beta testers only. When you enter a beta key, we set a small cookie that remembers your key for 30 days so you don't have to type it again. It is used for nothing else.
  • Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google's servers for them.

02

Playing the beta

  • No account. You never sign up or log in. Your beta key is the only thing that identifies you to us.
  • Saves and settings are stored in your browser on your computer. We never see them unless you choose to attach a save to a bug report.
  • Play time. While the game is open, it tells us how long you play, recorded against your beta key: when each session started and how many minutes you were active. That's all it sends. Nothing about what you do in the game reaches us or anyone else. We use it to see whether testers are getting to play, and delete it after the beta.

Bug reports and feedback

A bug report is only sent when you send one. It contains:

  • what you wrote, and the type of problem you picked
  • your beta key and the name you gave us, so we know who to thank
  • a screenshot of the game at that moment
  • the game version, your browser and graphics card, your quality setting and the frame rate
  • recent error messages from the game
  • your save file, only if you tick the box to include it

When you quit to the menu, we ask what you enjoyed, what you didn't and any bugs you ran into. That feedback is only sent if you press Send. It contains what you wrote, your beta key and the name you gave us, the game version, your browser and graphics card, and how long you played this session.

We use reports and feedback only to improve the game, and we delete them once they are no longer needed.
